Health care leaders in Saskatchewan are engaged in an unprecedented, coordinated drive to build a more responsive, effective and efficient health system. The Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations (SAHO), the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health and the Health Quality Council are partnering to organize the province’s first Health Care Quality Summit. Learn from local leaders and North American quality improvement experts about the transformational power of quality improvement. Get engaged, focused motivated and energized!

Inspire, Health Care Quality Summit 2011,
is for anyone who is wanting to:
  • improve the timeliness, responsiveness and effectiveness of services;
  • turn employees, patients/clients and their families into quality improvement champions;
  • create safer, more engaging, efficient work environments; and
  • promote the use of quality improvement to achieve results.
Maureen Bisognano, President and CEO of the world renowned Institute for Healthcare Improvement, will open the Summit. Other presenters include Norma Cameron, The Narrative Company; John Toussaint, author of On the Mend; and Dr. Richard Shannon, a patient safety leader from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Share Your Stories: Deadline January 14, 2011
If you have a quality improvement story to share, consider submitting a proposal to speak, or display a digital or printed poster. Submissions for SAHO’s Green Ribbon Awards, which will be presented on the evening of April 20, are also being accepted. Award categories have been revamped for 2010 to focus on Quality Improvement.
