In response to strong members' interest, the College is launching a group insurance benefits plan as a value-add for its members effective November 1st , 2011! College members have the option on a voluntary basis to choose various plans/options to meet their needs in regards to professional liability, errors and omissions, health care, and auto & home insurance. How and when eHealth is a good investment for patients managing chronic disease

In this article, we elaborate on the cost-effectiveness of eHealth solutions and the need to evaluate the return on investment as is done routinely with all other major expenditures. To this end, we discuss the theory that exists today to explain some of the usage principles affiliated with information technology implementation in healthcare; namely, we reflect on the Technology Adoption Criteria in Health (TEACH) model and Wagner's Chronic Disease Management model.

The annual Banff program for senior health administrators was attended by 33 executives from 6 provinces and the Northwest Territories. The program was an intensive three-week course held February 4-24th at the Banff Center for Continuing Education.
