We invite you to join our evening emcee, Bill Carr, and celebrate the accomplishments of the 2015 National Awards Program recipients.

September 26-October 2, 2015
Rome, Florence, and Bologna, Italy

Join us for a one-week study tour to the cities of Rome, Florence, and Bologna.

This tour will focus on private and public hospitals delivery, teaching and innovation centres, primary care models and local health networks which work directly with primary care and private and public hospitals to provide care. Italy is moving towards increased specialization of hospitals and establishing volume controls which balance hospital activity with hospital and physician performance management.

The organizers of the 2015 National Health Leadership Conference, themed Driving a culture of engagement, innovation and improvement, introduce the Great Canadian Healthcare Debate this year offering health leaders and trustees a unique opportunity to debate and pass policy resolutions aimed at assisting policy-makers at all levels to raise the bar in designing solutions to the key healthcare policy challenges facing Canada.

The College would like to inform you that Josée Lariviere, Executive Assistant and Manager, Membership Services, left the College on May 6, 2015 to join NewCo, a new wholly owned Canadian Medical Association subsidiary.
Josée Lariviere
Josée was a valued member of the College team for 13 years, supporting the College's Certified Health Executive (CHE™) and Fellowship programs before joining the executive office to serve as Executive Assistant and Manager, Membership Services. Josée was instrumental in supporting the President and Chief Executive Officer, and the Board of Directors in implementing a new governance model, establishing the processes for the College's new Fellowship program and played a pivotal role in improving the operations of the College's committee and council structures. In membership services she contributed to the complex project of converting the College's membership database and renewal processes into the College's new Association Management System in 2013.
