As the momentum surrounding the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework continues to grow, we are pleased to announce that we are now “bringing LEADS to life” through a leadership development program for health professionals. The workshops are offered in two formats: the LEADS in a Caring Environment Learning Series and the Coach Approach to LEADS. Both formats explore, in a practical way, the capabilities in the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework:
• Lead Self;
• Engage Others;
• Achieve Results;
• Develop Coalitions; and
• Systems Transformation.
The workshops can be offered within an organization on an exclusive basis, or on a regional basis with open registration. Certified College members will receive 7 MOC I credits toward their maintenance of certification per one-day workshop.
LEADS in a Caring Environment Learning Series
This series of five interactive, hands-on professional development workshops focuses on helping you learn and experience the core concepts in the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework.
Each workshop is a practical, dynamic and interactive one-day session conducted by LEADS certified faculty and will provide an in-depth look at how each domain contributes to building capacity in health leaders. These workshops are ideal for those who want to assume broader leadership responsibilities, and to enhance their capacity to tackle the complex challenges facing their organization or health system.
These workshops are offered on an individual basis or as a bundled package at a special rate.
The Coach Approach to LEADS
This is an eight-hour interactive program offering individuals an opportunity to explore and experience how to apply the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework with a certified coach.
Participants will gain an understanding of the five domains of LEADS and the value coaching brings to its implementation. They will recognize the value of shifting from the leader having the answers to the leader asking the right questions.
This program will engage participants as individuals with a coach and in small group discussions with colleagues that will provide an understanding of the practical application of each of the LEADS domains and associated capabilities and how they manifest themselves in everyday work life. This program is accredited by the International Coach Federation and is the core curriculum used by Royal Roads University in its world-class Executive Coaching program.

Afin de continuer sur sa lancée du cadre LEADS…Diriger dans un milieu de soins, le Collège est heureux d’annoncer qu’il va maintenant « donner vie à LEADS » au moyen d’un programme de perfectionnement pour les professionnels de la santé. Les ateliers seront offerts sous deux volets : la série d’ateliers d’apprentissage LEADS… Diriger dans un milieu de soins et l’application de LEADS axée sur le mentorat. Les deux formats permettent d’explorer de façon pratique les capacités du cadre LEADS… Diriger dans un milieu de soins :
• Être son propre Leader
• Engager les autres
• Atteindre des résultats
• Développer des coalitions
• Transformer les Systèmes.
Vous pouvez offrir les ateliers aux employés de votre établissement ou ouvrir l’inscription à l’ensemble des professionnels de votre région. Les membres certifiés du Collège qui assisteront à ces ateliers d’un jour recevront 7 crédits de MDC (maintien de la certification) de la catégorie I par atelier.
La série d’ateliers d’apprentissage LEADS… Diriger dans un milieu de soins
Cette série de cinq ateliers interactifs pratiques de perfectionnement professionnel a été conçue de manière pour t’aider apprendre les concepts de base du cadre LEADS… Diriger dans un milieu de soins.
Chaque atelier est une séance pratique, dynamique et interactive animée par un professeur breveté connaissant bien le cadre LEADS qui examinera en profondeur de quelle façon chaque domaine contribue à améliorer les capacités des leaders en santé. Ces ateliers sont idéals pour les personnes qui veulent assumer de plus vastes fonctions de leadership et améliorer leur capacité de relever les défis complexes auxquels leur organisation ou le système de santé font face.
Ces ateliers sont offerts individuellement, ou à forfait à un prix réduit.
L’application de LEADS axée sur le mentorat
Ce programme interactif de huit heures offre une occasion d’explorer et d’expérimenter le cadre LEADS… Diriger dans un milieu de soins.
Le programme permettra aux participants de comprendre les cinq domaines du cadre LEADS et l’utilité du mentorat pour les mettre en œuvre. Ils reconnaîtront l'utilité de délaisser l’approche du leader qui a les réponses en faveur de celle du leader qui pose les bonnes questions.
Dans le cadre de ce programme, les participants travailleront individuellement et en petits groupes afin d’arriver à comprendre comment appliquer dans la pratique chacun des domaines du cadre LEADS et les capacités qui y sont reliées et comment ces dernières se manifestent quotidiennement au travail. Ce programme est certifié par l’International Coach Federation et est à la base des cours offerts par l’Université Royal Roads dans le cadre de son programme de mentorat des cadres (Executive Coaching) de renommée mondiale.
