Health Research Foundation: Medal of Honour Nominations



Now Accepting Nominations until April 30, 2014

Since its inception in 1945, the Medal of Honour has been awarded to truly outstanding individuals whose research and/or contribution to public policies supportive of research and development in Canada have achieved international recognition.

Nominees must be Canadian residents whose work/research has been performed in Canada and has made a truly notable or pivotal contribution to the advancement of knowledge in the health sciences, health policy and/or the improvement of therapeutics and healthcare. Recipients can originate from a variety of fields and sectors including patient groups, educators, journalists, industry, and the public and non-profit sectors.
The $20,000 prize will be invested back into innovative health research at the Canadian academic institution of the recipient's choice to promote further life sciences research in Canada.
