Energy Management Planning Workshops
February - May, 2014
Across Ontario


To assist Ontario hospitals better meet their obligations under the Ontario Green Energy Act and Ontario Regulation 397/11 by July 1, 2014, the Canadian Coalition for Green Health Care (CCGHC) and the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society (CHES), Ontario Chapter are presenting six Energy Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) Plan workshops across Ontario.

Attendees will receive guidance on how to complete the plan and a template will also be provided.

Note, the regulation states the hospital’s senior management must approve the CDM Plan. You are encouraged to share workshop information with your energy manager, facility manager and facility engineer. Learn more at: www.greenhealthcare.ca/HELO

Dates and Locations (a maximum of 35 people per site):
February 19, 2014: Burlington area – Joseph Brant Hospital
March 18, 2014: Orillia – Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital
March 31, 2014: Timmins – Timmins and District Hospital
April 2, 2014: Cobourg – Northumberland Hills Hospital
April 3, 2014: Ottawa – Queensway Carleton Hospital
May 1, 2014: Strathroy – Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital

Regular rate: $295.00 + 38.35 (HST) = $333.35
Includes one year membership in CCGHC and CHES for first-time members.

CHES member rate: $75.00 + 9.75 (HST) = $84.75
CHES Ontario members can apply to the CHES Education Bursary that will cover the cost of the workshop registration fee. Some conditions apply.

MAINTENANCE OF CERTIFICATION
Attendance at this program entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 2.75 Category II credits toward their maintenance of certification requirement.
