The College would like to congratulate John Ruetz, CHE on his recent appointment as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario.

According to the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario news release (January 2014):

With the retirement of Don McDermott, CHE our first and exemplary, faithful leader of more than 15 years, I am pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the Catholic Health Corporation of Ontario (CHCO) has appointed John Ruetz, as the new President and CEO, effective February 24th, 2014.

John is highly motivated and committed to the Mission of Catholic healthcare and we are very pleased and excited to have him with us. As he assumes his responsibilities of the leadership of CHCO, he will be keenly interested in getting to know each of our family of organizations, and in working with our CEOs, Board Chairs and Boards. Le Collège souhaite féliciter John Ruetz, CHE qui vient d’être nommé président-directeur général de la Société catholique ontarienne de la santé.

Selon le communiqué de presse de la Société catholique ontarienne de la santé (janvier 2014) :

À la suite de la retraite de Don McDermott, CHE, notre premier, loyal et exemplaire leader depuis plus de 15 ans, je suis heureux d’annoncer que le Conseil d’administration de Société catholique ontarienne de la santé (SCOS) a nommé John Ruetz au poste de président-directeur général. Il entrera en fonction le 24 février 2014.

John est extrêmement motivé et engagé à l’égard de la mission des soins de santé catholiques, et nous sommes très heureux de l’accueillir dans notre organisation. Lorsqu’il assumera ses responsabilités de leader de la SCOS, il voudra très certainement apprendre à connaître chacune de nos familles d’organisations et sera impatient de travailler avec nos présidents-directeurs généraux, nos conseils d’administration et leurs présidents.
