Allan Katz

The College would like to congratulate College member Allan Katz on his recent appointment as President and CEO of the Riverside Health Care Facilities Inc. in Fort Frances, Ontario.

According to the Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc’s press release (March 29, 2012):
The board of directors of Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. is announcing that Allan Katz has been appointed President/CEO effective April 1.

“Our search for a leader who would support Riverside's vision of being a centre of excellence, and who would lead the corporation through the many changes that health care will be facing, has been intensive and thorough,” said Riverside board chair Michelle Marinaro. “We are confident that Allan has the qualities and abilities needed based on his record of leading complex organizations, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.” (Retrieved from http://www.riversidehealthcare.ca)

Allan joined the College in 1999, and between 2003 and 2009, served two terms as a member on the Eastern Ontario Chapter Executive Committee, which earned him The Chapter Award for Distinguished Service in 2011.

Le Collège désire féliciter un de ses membres, Allan Katz, qui a récemment été nommé président-directeur général de Riverside Health Care Facilities Inc. à Fort Frances, en Ontario.

Selon le communiqué de presse de Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc., (29 mars 2012) :
Le Conseil d’administration de Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. annonce la nomination d’Allan Katz au poste de président-directeur général. Il entrera en fonction le 1er avril.

« Notre recherche d’un leader qui appuierait la vision de Riverside, qui est d’être un centre d’excellence, et qui saurait diriger la société  à travers les nombreux changements auxquels font face les soins de santé a été intensive et exhaustive », a indiqué Michelle Marinaro, présidente du Conseil d’administration de Riverside.  « Les antécédents d’Allan en tant que directeur d’organisations complexes ainsi que ses grandes qualités personnelles et de dirigeant nous ont convaincu qu’il a les qualités et les capacités nécessaires pour remplir ce poste. » (Traduction d’un extrait du site http://www.riversidehealthcare.ca.)

Allan est devenu membre du Collège en 1999 et, entre 2003 et 2009, a siégé au Comité exécutif de l’Eastern Ontario Chapter pendant deux mandats, ce qui lui a valu le Prix du chapitre pour contribution remarquable en 2011.
