Interested in becoming a Certified Health Executive (CHE™) and building on your skills?

The College is committed to creating and sustaining a learning environment for its members by offering the only Canadian professional designation available to health leaders. The CHE designation has established the College at the forefront of continuing education for health leaders.

Since its inception in 1984, the CHE program has attracted many of the country’s top health leaders. In fact, nearly half of College members have achieved certification. The development of this capabilities-based program was a collaborative effort involving College members from across the country as well board members and staff. Given the constant changes within the Canadian health system, all elements of the CHE Program are regularly reviewed and revised by the CHE Program Committee and the Professional Standard Council. In 2013, the CHE Program was revised to align with the LEADS in a Caring Environment Capabilities Framework.

We live in a digital age where electronic and online technologies are part of everything we do.  We can pay our bills, book a haircut and do our shopping all online. This is not only convenient, but also saves time and avoids unnecessary travel.

Just like other aspects of our lives, Canada’s health system is also becoming more digital every day.  Digital health innovations can be used to book doctors’ appointments, request prescription renewals, view health information and consult with a doctor on-line.
