Over the next few issues of Communiqué we will be profiling the various awards and calling for your nominations.

In June 2015, the College, with the support of our award sponsors, will bestow 15 prestigious national healthcare awards in Charlottetown, PEI. These awards are presented to individuals, teams and organizations in the healthcare community that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, and who have made significant contributions in areas such as: mentorship; innovation; nursing; healthcare safety; quality; environmental stewardship; diversity; and mental health and addictions.

On October 15, 2014, the College embarked on its 2015 corporate membership renewal campaign.

Again this year, corporate members will be able to renew their membership on-line.

The process will remain the same and corporate primary members will need to update their company descriptor and update the list of corporate active members. This will allow the College to have the most up to date information on all of its corporate members.

In September, a group of 10 health leaders from across Canada ventured to Rome, Turin, Mantova and Milan to explore current developments in health services policy and organization in the Italian health systems. The tour provided a rich forum for the exchange of information, ideas and experiences between the Canadians and their Italian counterparts.
